Gather is a meal box experience with recipes inspired by regional cuisine that bring people together through cooking. The company I created for my senior thesis is more than a meal. The recipes are curated from the culture of different regions of the United States, allowing you to taste authentic recipes and local flavors from the comfort of your home. Gather also serves as a platform for local farmers, cooks, and food suppliers from around the country to share their stories to benefit and grow their businesses.
All visuals and illustrations were drawn by hand and are original work. The imagery has a handcrafted look to further the authenticity of brand values and focuses on the fresh ingredients of recipes. The meal box package design features a game board to enhance the experience for the customer. This provides an opportunity to create intentional time together and repurpose the delivery box.
These are some examples of what the cards look like that are used for the board game. When the customer purchases their first meal box, these come with the meal box. In efforts to reduce waste, these do not come with every kit, only if indicated upon purchase.
